Over the last 7 years, I have dealt with an injury to my lower back (semi-herniated disc). I wanted to not only finally resolve this pain, but learn how to exercise around my injury without creating more pain or making my back worse. I always seemed to irritate the area doing basic day-to-day activities, which was so discouraging because I love being active. Then, I met Jess. Through personal training, she taught me how to strengthen the areas of and around my back, how to work with the problems in my body, and actually see noticeable results. Now I can teach my spin class and lift weights without pain! This amazed my physiotherapist and me! Jess works with a wide range of people; some that have osteoporosis, heart problems, various injuries, and many other ailments. She has also taught me the importance of strength training, self-care and nutrition. She inspires me to do more and learn more to help further my health and fitness, in a way that my body can thrive.
